		<description>Do men and women avoid sexual relationships with each other? I fear it is opposite - it became the preferred type of relationships. And that is due to feminism: only after women were liberated sexually and financially, were they able to have sexual relationships. Or do we have different definitions of sexual relationships?

And I agree, promiscuity did not see decrease in the strength of emotions, but in their durability.</description>

		<description>It is interesting how in Brave New World the emphasis is on women&#039;s promiscuity not men&#039;s, but the then current mores were that women were supposed to be chaste or monogomous.  Huxley did not think that things would be even more extreme, with the inclusion of homosexuality so that truly every person would belong to everyone else, or, that women or men would avoid sexual relationships with each other, perhaps as a result of feminism.  Another difference is that today&#039;s promiscuity has not seen a decrease in strong emotions.  People may have unfeeling hookups, but there is still as much or more relationship-related emotion and even violence.</description>
