Yes, that is right I remember that Simpsons episode! (It is fantastic, must watch) Life really started imitating fiction… It is sad.

I hate reality shows! And I don’t like people that are watching those kind of stuff! And I really don’t understand how can anyone with common sense accept to live like this, even if it is only for few months and with possibility to win some money.

the fun thing is there exists already an episode of TheSimpsons from the Year 99, where Apu’s wife Majula becomes the mother of eight children due to some fertility enhancement issues and he and his wife obv. have to struggle with financing their offspring, so finally the babies end up in (guess what) a reality show called “Octopia”.
you can watch that epsiode here: http://www.wtso.net/movie/28-The , it is quite entertaining. whether it was some sort of prophecy or copycat we cant tell, but it seems like fiction melts more and more into reality or life becomes fiction itself (it prolly has to in order to get meaning) in the media society we are living in.
