A few days ago, a charming, older and very well established friend of a friend told me “You’re so cute. If you weren’t that intelligent, I would ask you out for dinner.” I was torn apart between liking him for the honesty and hating him for the prejudice.
And I wondered if life would be easier with a smaller brain and bigger breasts….

IF you consider that not everyone is smart, and you also consider an even distribution (for the example sake, could be different), then 66% of the population consider the other 33 as smarter than themselves. And if you consider that most relationships today are based on hopeful assumptions that are reinforced by lies of the other partner, its generally a bad idea to date a smarter person. Either the less smart person is made feel dumb by the simple fact that the person is together with a smarter partner, or the relation is demystified by the disappointment of assumptions on the smarter persons side and the uncovery of stupid lies.
In that sense, you have the choice to be smart and learn to live with less smart people by making them feel still appreciated, or you are less smart and learn living with realizing that fact every day again. You choose.
