You changed the cover! Why? I like the goddess Ana
Yeah, I also liked goddess Ana (well, I always do)!
But this is a great example for the students of international marketing. It just doesn’t work in Austria. The publisher and many “creative” people here hated the Shiva cover. Also, the book is positioned very differently here. In Croatia, shock & food-for-gossip works great. Here, what works is quality and subtle intellectual touch. Hmmmmm…. Am curious.
i think that is bullshit. hot naked woman on the one side, some flower (or whatever that is) stuff at the other – hmm what will make me buy that book? guess i go with my guts and try to learn more about the hot chick and leave the flower/gaystuff where it is. how selfabsorbed can creatives be to think that people here need “quality” and “subtlety”, we arent different or better than anyone else. (well and i was at business school too …) besides that the posture very much fits the message i feel, cant see a message here besides the title. ok i’d admit they might try to let it look like your secret diary, but still: dont fix something that isnt broken.
